Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Salhome website (https://www.salhome.co) and the mobile application “Salhome” (collectively, the “Platform”) and the services offered by professionals (referred to as “Salhome Partners”) through the Platform (the “Professional Services”). By accessing or using the Platform or the Professional Services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the Platform or the services.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Salhome Platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You also agree to the Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data. You cannot use the Platform or book services unless you accept these terms.


2. Services Offered

Salhome provides a platform for customers to connect with professionals for at-home salon services. These services are delivered by Salhome Partners, and Salhome acts as an intermediary to facilitate the booking, payment, and communication between customers and professionals.


3. Account Registration and Eligibility

  • You must create an account to use the Platform. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Use of Personal Data

By using the Platform, you consent to Salhome collecting, processing, and sharing your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. This includes using your data for account management, facilitating transactions, offering a personalised experience, and for marketing purposes.


5. Payment and Transaction Data

  • All payments for services are facilitated through third-party payment processors.
  • Salhome does not store full credit or debit card information but may store transaction data and UPI IDs as required for facilitating and tracking payments.

6. Pricing

  • Partner will have to pay 5% of the booking amount to accept a booking. Example – for a booking of INR1000, partner will have to pay INR 50.
  • Prices will be different for services, decided by partners.

7. Booking and Refunds/Cancellations

  • Customers may book Professional Services via the Platform. Any bookings are subject to the availability of the professional and the acceptance of the booking.
  • Customers can cancel a booking at any time till 30 minutes before the service starts. There is no refund case because customer makes payment only after service is complete.
  • Partner can cancel a booking at any time. Booking acceptance amount paid by partner at the time of accepting the booking will be refunded withing 5-7 days to the partners’ account.


8. Responsibilities of Salhome Partners

  • Salhome Partners are independent professionals offering services through the Platform. Salhome is not responsible for the quality, timing, or legality of the services provided.
  • Professionals are responsible for setting their own prices, maintaining their service profiles, and providing services to customers.

9. Restrictions on Use

  • You agree not to misuse the Platform, including but not limited to:
    • Engaging in fraudulent activities.
    • Harassing or harming other users or professionals.
    • Using the Platform for any unlawful activities.

10. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Salhome acts only as a facilitator and is not responsible for the actual provision of the services by the professionals.
  • We make no guarantees about the availability, quality, or suitability of the services offered by Salhome Partners.
  • Salhome is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or services.

11. Cookies

Salhome uses cookies to personalise your experience and track usage behaviour. For more details on how cookies are used, please refer to our Privacy Policy.


12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Salhome reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes, and your continued use of the Platform after such changes signifies your acceptance.


13. Account Termination

  • Salhome reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or for other legitimate reasons.
  • You may request account deletion by contacting support@salhome.co. Upon account deletion, you will lose access to the services, and your personal data will be deleted, except for data required to be retained under applicable law.

14. Grievance Redressal

If you have any grievances or complaints regarding the Platform, services, or these terms, please contact our support team at support@salhome.co. We aim to resolve all grievances within a reasonable timeframe.
